Mount Marty University is a private, Catholic university located in Yankton, South Dakota. It was established in 1936 by the Sisters of Saint Benedict of Yankton.

Mount Marty University offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree program through four schools: the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business, the School of Education and Human Sciences, and the School of Health Sciences.

The School of Arts and Sciences is the largest of the four schools, offering programs in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences including biology, chemistry, criminal justice, English, history, psychology, and theology.

The School of Business offers degree programs in accounting, business administration, healthcare administration, and sports management.

The School of Education and Human Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in education, counseling, and human services.

The School of Health Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in nursing, radiologic technology, and respiratory care.

The university also has an active athletics program, with 17 varsity sports teams competing at the NCAA Division II level.

The campus is located on the bluffs overlooking the Missouri River, providing students with a beautiful and peaceful learning environment.

The university offers modern facilities including modern classrooms, laboratories, and residence halls, as well as recreational facilities, including a fitness center, indoor swimming pool, and outdoor sports fields.
